Toyo Bussan Kogyo Co., Ltd., a safety equipment manufacturer with over 60 years of history, has collaborated with ZEROFIT, operated by sports manufacturer AEON Sports, to develop the VESK, a foldable helmet that is compact and SG mark certified.

This is the first folding bicycle helmet in the industry to receive the SG mark.

It is important to wear a helmet that has a certified safety mark .
There are many low-performance helmets made overseas on the market because of their fashion sense, and they often lead to accidents.
ZEROFIT VESK has been awarded the SG mark, one of several marks that indicate safety.

However, in addition to safety standards and product certification, the product also comes with a maximum of 100 million yen in bodily injury insurance in the event of an accident caused by the product. This is paid by the Product Safety Association, and only products that have passed such rigorous tests can be certified with the SG mark.

One thing to be concerned about when wearing a helmet is heat.
We hear a lot of people say that they don't like wearing them in the summer because they don't like it getting stuffy, but the mechanism is designed to allow heat to escape by creating as many air passages as possible while still being safe.

Measure from above your ear, pointing straight ahead and parallel to the most protruding part of the back of your head, wrapping the tape measure around it.
*If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a string to measure the circumference and then measure the length of the string.

②Please choose the size according to your measurements.

This helmet is intended for use by ages 6 and up.
When wearing the helmet, adjust the length of the chin strap so that two or three fingers can fit between it, and then use the adjuster at the back of the helmet to adjust the fit to hold your head firmly in place.

The name was inspired by the French word "Vélo" ( bicycle ) and "casque" ( helmet ), which protects the rider's safety.

The "S" in "VESK" stands for "sécurité" ( safety ) and "solidité" (strength, durability ), and the "K" stands for "kifer" (to like ).We hope that the helmet will reach people in need of a "safe, secure, and sturdy" helmet.

This helmet has been awarded the "SG Mark," a mark that can only be placed on products that have passed extremely strict safety standards, and through collaboration with ZEROFIT, we have created a sophisticated urban style helmet that goes well with everything from suits for commuting to school or work to casual clothing.

Under the revised Road Traffic Act (enforced April 1, 2023), helmets are now mandatory as a best practice, and as they help to reduce risk in emergencies, it would be a great reward for us as a manufacturer if people would wear them through this project.

The new "VESK" was born from the concept of "prioritizing the safety and durability of the bicycle and its rider ." By teaming up with Toyo Bussan Kogyo Co., Ltd., a company well-known in the safety equipment industry, we were able to develop a "foldable yet stylish and durable helmet."

The SG mark that we have acquired is a mark given only to products that meet the standards of a system that ensures the safety of products used daily by consumers and provides the market with products that can be used with confidence.

After changing the "locking structure," adjusting the position of the chin strap, and revising the mold used to make the product twice, we were able to complete a stylish, foldable helmet that passed the SG test.

We hope that this project will help to make wearing a helmet a normal part of life and that helmets become a part of fashion.

Some local governments offer subsidies

Currently, some local governments are implementing cashless rebates as part of a "Bicycle Helmet Purchase Support Project."
