Win with the Zerofit Iceweave Baselayer

Nottinghamshire rider Kyle Ryde wore Zerofit's Iceweave base layer and leggings for the first time at the latest round of the Bennett British Superbike (BSB) Championship at Cadwell Park, scoring impressive results with wins in Race 1 and Race 3 and a runner-up finish in Race 2, putting him well on his way to claiming his first title.

This was the 27-year-old Ryde's first time using Zerofit products in competition but he was confident in their capabilities after testing them at Cadwell Park - and the result was an exciting Bank Holiday weekend performance.

His performance also earned Kyle the title of "Parelli King of the Mountain," a trophy awarded to the rider with the most points after the first two races.

ZeroFit athlete Lee Jackson also had his best performance of the season, finishing on the podium in all three races, placing second in Race 1 and third in both Race 2 and Race 3.

Another Zerofit rider, Glenn Irwin, also placed 5th in all three races at the Lincolnshire track for a total of 33 points. All three riders credit the performance of IceWeave products to their success.

So why is Iceweave better?

Excessive sweating can sap your strength, energy and affect your focus, which is why it's so important to effectively wick sweat away from your skin - IceWeave Baselayers provide the solution.

While Zero Fit's award-winning Heatlab Ultimate base layer generates warmth with internal 'Heat Threads', the Iceweave base layer employs 'Cold Thread' technology to minimise the impact of heat on performance.

Summer's big hit item, Iceweave

IceWeave is designed for temperatures ranging from 20°C to 40°C. Its technologically advanced design with a cloud-shaped cross section increases the contact area with the body, which, combined with our unique seamless vertical weave warp construction, efficiently moves sweat away from the skin, while the quick drying properties of the fabric keep you comfortable all day long.

The fabric stretches 500% from base, giving the rider a full body cooling sensation and allowing for a great range of motion, and is treated with Polygiene StayFresh™ silver ion antimicrobial treatment, which inhibits 99% of odor-causing bacteria and keeps sweat odor at bay.

Athlete Approved

Zerofit MD Michael Morton is delighted that leading BSB riders have switched to the Japanese base layer brand mid-season.

"It's not easy for an athlete to switch products, but the IceWeave base layers and leggings give them a huge competitive advantage, and we've seen such positive reviews from other athletes in the paddock that Danny Kent even offered to buy some himself.

"IceWeave is ideal for these athletes, but also for the average rider. The fact that riders have embraced ZeroFit is testament to the proven performance our baselayers provide," he concluded.

Influence in the BSB paddock

In addition to Kyle, Lee and Glenn, Zerofit base layers are also used by many other riders in the BSB and support classes, including Andrew Irwin, Simon Read, Danny Kent, Richard Cooper, Sam Ruffins, Peter Willis, Scott Swan and Nicky Coates (pictured), who took victory in Heat One of the ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F900R Cup.

With three races remaining in the 2024 season, Glenn sits third in the championship standings with Kyle in second, both within striking distance of the leaders. Lee's strong performance has also seen him move up to eighth place.
The BSB will resume at Oulton Park from 13th to 15th September.
